So here's the deal. You're going to have to be a little creative to win. Below is a clip of Buffy dusting a vampire. If you're any kind of Buffy fan, you know she always has a nice witty quip or pun she says after she stakes a vamp. This one is:
"Three in one night, Giles would be so proud"
**UPDATE**
I'm changing this up a bit. There are 2 ways you can enter this contest to win 1 copy of Buffy the vampire Slayer, Season 8 Volume 1 entitled "The Long Way Home". Contest will run until the end of February. US only residents.
1.) I want you to come up with your most creative vampire comeback, pun or quip based upon the video above.
AND/OR
2.) Answer the question below.
Name the "Big Bad" from each of the 7 Seasons of BTVS.
Once you come up with your cleverly clever quip or name the Big Bads, e-mail or DM your name and e-mail address with your answers. Around March, I'll randomly pick a winner! If you do both, you get entered twice and double your chances!

Now channel your inner Joss Whedon and get with the punning.
Thanks to Whedonesque for the plug!
Here's one my pun: "I'd like a Double Meat Burger, small fries and a dusted vamp to go please"
ReplyDeleteI came up with a few but could only submit 1. Such gems as: "Just like that, Lover's Lane is a little less 'vampy'" (a clear reference to Cordelia; see also: 'Vamp', lol). And "Didn't your mother ever teach you to watch out for the pointy end of things?" which modified itself to my entry. I wanted to keep the 'pointy end' part and throw in a barb about existentialism or "that came out more philosophical than I intended. Go me." but there wasn't any room and I thought it kinda long for a quip. (see also: Buffy's end in Season 6 was 'pointy', piercing and purposeful...see what I did there?)
ReplyDeleteHere's a pun via Emmie from Whedonesque.
ReplyDeleteBuffy quip: "Every time I pull out the stake, they make with the shock and the awww. Maybe I really do need a nametag."
Josh came up with:
ReplyDeleteVampire:" You fight like a barbarian you prissy little......." (death stab)
Here's Chelsea's pun for fun:.
ReplyDelete"One vampire stake, extra dusty."
Big Bads
ReplyDeleteSeason 1 The Master
Season 2 Angelus
Season 3 The Mayor (Henry Wilkins III)
Season 4 Adam
Season 5 Glory
Season 6 Dark Willow
Season 7 The First
Season 6 might be open to interpretation because some people might want to say The Trio but I would argue Willow. She's actually scary!

Here's Danny's quip.
ReplyDeletePun/Quip
"Sharp teeth, superhuman strength, yet you go poof when I poke you with a sharp stick. Huh."
Chad stakes his pun with:
ReplyDelete"Got wood? I do....wait, that didn't come out right."

TDFC99
Season 1: The Master
ReplyDeleteSeason 2: Angelus
Season 3: The Mayor (and Faith)
Season 4: Adam
Season 5: Glory
Season 6: sort of The Trio, and even more so Dark Willow, but I would argue that the true Big Bad in 6 is "ourselves." Everyone is so self-destructive in that season that they fight themselves more than any outside force.
Season 7: The First
Mutt999 goes with:
ReplyDelete"Sorry, all out of A1."
Buffy would say this according to Rob:
ReplyDelete"No neck-sucking on face-suckers for you."
Mike quips this:
ReplyDelete*After defeating 3 vampires*
"Well that was the worst Foursome ever."
Justin goes simple with his one liner:
ReplyDelete"POOF!"
Neil's punny is:
ReplyDeleteBuffy (sighing)
"Well that's it. 3 spikes and I'm out."
Courtney quips this comeback:
ReplyDelete"Oh C'mon, these teenagers fooling around have more endurance than that!"
Richie goes old school:
ReplyDelete*pulls stake out* : "two company"
*stakes vamp* "Three's a crowd"
